Hello and welcome!

I’m Dominey, a photo maker and designer with an obsession with interiors and homeware.

The Cosy Notes is an ode to home.

Home goes beyond design trends; it reflects all the things we love, our sanctuary in a chaotic world where we can express ourselves and re-energise after a long day.

Here, I share my love for warm, inviting spaces and offer a glimpse into coastal living on New Zealand’s Matakana Coast, as well as snippets of our own house renovation project in Snells Beach, home styling and interior makeover ideas.

My camera has led me on countless adventures over the years, always in search of moments in nature that make you pause and feel a little speechless. 

Nature is transformative on so many levels. Being immersed in it is the best stress relief and tonic for the soul, and having a piece of it on your walls can instantly brighten and uplift the mood of a room.
