Studio Diary: Glow Up Part II - The Reveal

What began as a humble garage and poorly utilised space has now evolved into a calming and gorgeous space for creativity, relaxation, work and self-care. Part creative studio, part home gym, and part chill zone.

After two years of ohh and ahhing over whether or not I should paint the interior walls, ceiling and beams, I FINALLY bit the bullet and listened to my heart.

With the expertise of better house painters, I decided to colour-drench the entire space in Highlands by Porters Paint. A moody hue, muted grey green with umber and olive undertones.

We also sealed and painted the concrete floors in Resene Walk On Concrete Top Coat in Half Fossil, which not only made the space look significantly more polished but also addressed the issue of concrete moisture. Read more about the professional painting process in this blog post.
