Should we, shouldn’t we? This is the doubt-inducing question that every homeowner asks themselves before making what many would consider a ‘risky’ design choice. In our case, the decision to colour-drench our open-plan living/kitchen/dining space in a gorgeous, moody, deep, blue-green took two years of ohh-and-umming.
Studio Diary: The Final Touches on Our Garage-to-Studio Transformation
Two years ago, we converted an old garage into a creative studio space and added 54sqm2 to our property's footprint. Our contractors had lined the interior surfaces in tongue-and-groove plywood, which, initially, I thought I'd leave unpainted.
